Fresh Flavors Just Steps Away: Hi.Shack Brings Local Vibes to Waikiki

Hi.Shack just launched at the Waikiki Beachside Hostel, serving up a bold mix of Hawaiian, Filipino, and American flavors. Whether you're crashing at the hostel or just walking by, this new food stop is perfect for a quick bite or a laid-back meal in the shared lounge just steps from the sand.

There’s a new must-try food spot in Waikiki—and it’s right on the doorstep of the Waikiki Beachside Hostel. Hi.Shack has officially opened at 2556 Lemon Road , just around the corner from the Honolulu Zoo, offering a fresh lineup of savory eats inspired by Hawaiian, Filipino, and American flavors.

🧀 Philly Cheesesteak – $14.99

Served on a 9” authentic Amoroso hoagie roll, this sandwich is stacked with thin-cut ribeye, sautéed onions, mushrooms, and bell peppers (optional), all smothered in melted white American cheese.


🌮 Quesa Birria Tacos (3 pcs) – $14.00

Crunchy corn tortillas packed with tender shredded beef and gooey mozzarella. Comes with a rich consommé for dipping, plus lime, onions, and fresh cilantro on the side.


🦞 Crab & Lobster Roll – $17.00

Real crab meat and juicy lobster loaded onto a buttery, split-top hoagie and topped with a touch of dill. Beach vibes in every bite.


🍝 Chicken Mushroom Alfredo Pasta – $17.00

Classic spaghetti tossed in a creamy Alfredo sauce with chunks of chicken and mushrooms. Comes with garlic bread for good measure.


🌿 Chicken Mushroom Pesto Alfredo – $18.00

A rich blend of creamy pesto Alfredo, chicken, and mushrooms over spaghetti, finished with parmesan and parsley. Garlic bread on the side.

Spaghetti meets a creamy tomato seafood sauce, topped with real crab and a 10oz lobster tail. Garnished with parmesan and parsley, served with garlic bread. You can upgrade to more lobster at market price.

🐖 Lechon Kawali (Crispy Pork Belly) – $14.99

A Filipino classic—crispy fried pork belly served with rice, spiced vinegar sauce, salsa, and green onion garnish.

🍔 Hi.Shack Cheeseburger – $11.99

1/3 lb beef patty, melted cheese, lettuce, tomato, and the house burger sauce. Comes with fries.

🧱 Big Stack Cheeseburger – $15.99

Double the beef, double the flavor. Two 1/3 lb patties with lettuce, tomato, and signature sauce.


🍄 Truffle Mushroom Swiss Burger – $13.99

Savory mushrooms, truffle aioli, Swiss cheese, and a thick beef patty all on a toasted bun.
