Mondays Are for Movies and Chill at Waikiki Hostel

Ease into the week with a relaxed movie night in the Big Lounge. From 7 PM to 9 PM every Monday, we stream a crowd-pleasing flick from Netflix. Popcorn is available if you’re craving a snack, and guests are welcome to suggest movie picks ahead of time at the front desk. Whether you’re flying solo or hanging with new friends, it’s the perfect low-key way to unwind in good company.

Start your Tuesday night with a splash of flavor and a room full of friendly faces. From 7 PM to 9 PM in the Big Lounge, join our Meet and Greet Margarita Mixer. It’s the perfect chance to swap stories, make new friends, and enjoy a few drinks before heading out into the Waikiki nightlife. Good music, great company, and chilled margaritas set the tone for a fun and social evening.

Kick off your weekend with one of Waikiki’s best free shows. Every Friday night, the Hilton Hawaiian Village sets off a stunning fireworks display over the beach. At 7:45pm, our staff leads a casual walk to the best viewing spots nearby. Whether you’re with a group or flying solo, it’s a fun way to see the skyline light up and wrap up your day with a little sparkle.

Get outside and explore Oahu every Sunday on our free Southeast Oahu Tour, exclusively for hostel guests. From 8 AM to 1 PM, our crew will lead you to amazing viewpoints and a hidden swim spot. It’s the perfect way to soak up the island’s natural beauty and make new friends along the way.

Exciting news, adventurers! We're now offering a Southeast Oahu Tour exclusively for our guests.
Join us every Sunday from 8 AM to 1 PM as we explore some of the island's most stunning spots.


A scenic loop featuring Tantalus Lookout, Halona Blowhole, Makapuʻu Lookout, and a refreshing secret beach swim, plus a coffee or lunch break.
Spots are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.
